From the moment I arrived, the restaurant conveyed a quiet, welcoming atmosphere complemented by attentive, courteous service. The menu is thoughtfully accompanied by a well-selected assortment of snacks and beverages, reflecting a clear attention to the overall guest experience. I ordered the Spicy Mongolian Beef lunch special, served with fried rice and an egg roll. At $14, the offering represents exceptional value in today’s dining landscape. The portion size was remarkably generous, easily providing enough for two meals, even with a larger appetite. Most impressive, however, was the execution of the food itself. Been searching for a good Chinese spot, this place is amazing! Lots of flavor, generous portions. I’ll definitely be ordering again I mistakenly ordered one wrong item. Staff there kindly changed it for me with zero issues Cantonese pan noodles are amazing!

Mr. Wok in Carpentersville never disappoints! This was my third visit, and every time has been consistently excellent. The Mongolian Three was absolutely delicious—I asked for it extra spicy, and they nailed it perfectly. It had just the right amount of heat and flavor. The egg rolls were also outstanding—fresh, hot, and incredibly tasty. Whoever they have cooking is absolutely killing it! Great service, great flavors, and consistently satisfying meals. I’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommended!

Ever since we discovered Mr Wok, we look forward to Thursdays. Thursdays is when Mr Wok is on our route. We get lunch specials, entree is loaded and comes with fried rice and a egg roll. The flavor is amazing You can ask for it spicy if you’ll like The ingredients are so fresh and of very good quality The shrimps are big, the beef is soft and tender. When I get chicken they make it with a really good lemony flavor Highly recommend! Thank you Mr Wok for all your good food
